Summer Enrichment Camp is off to an amazing start! ⛺🌲🔥

This week, our campers are exploring the great outdoors through fun camping-themed activities, crafts, games, stories, and adventures. Every day is filled with learning, laughter, creativity, and new friendships.

Join us this Friday, June 12, for a special S’mores & Slime with Dad event! 🍫🔥🟢 Spend quality time making sweet treats, creating slime, and enjoying fun camping-themed activities together.

Don't forget to dress up as a camper and get ready for a day full of learning, exploring, creating, and making memories! ⛺✨

After 33 incredible years of dedication, love, and service at Sorensen Elementary, we celebrate the retirement of Mrs. Tavares. ❤️

For more than three decades, she has touched the lives of countless students, families, and colleagues, leaving a lasting impact on our Sorensen community. Her passion for education, commitment to her students, and caring heart have made a difference that will be felt for years to come.

Thank you, Mrs. Tavares, for 33 years of memories, and unwavering dedication to our Cubs. We wish you endless happiness, relaxation, and new adventures in this well-deserved retirement.

Our last day of school was the perfect way to celebrate! 🎉🫧

We wrapped up the year by recognizing our students with perfect attendance for the last 6 weeks with an exciting foam party! The smiles, laughter, and memories made were the perfect ending to a wonderful school year.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible—our administrators, teachers, staff, and everyone who lent a hand behind the scenes. Your support helped create a fun and memorable experience for our students.

A huge thank you to our Principal, Mrs. Martinez, and Assistant Principal, Ms. Hernandez, for organizing such a fun and memorable event for our Sorensen family. We are also incredibly grateful to Mr. Lara for his generous donation and for allowing us to borrow his BBQ pit, and to Aguilar's Meat Market for their food donation.

Thank you to our amazing parent volunteers for always stepping up to help, our hardworking custodians for everything they do behind the scenes, Mr. Gonzales and Mr. Galvan for keeping the grill going all day long, and to all others that helped make this event happen.

We hope our students, teachers, and staff were able to relax, have fun, and enjoy this special day together. ❤️🐻
