Breakthrough San Juan Capistrano Breaking the cycle of poverty through the power of education

Breakthrough San Juan Capistrano supports students from middle school to college graduation through tuition-free, college access programming. By providing academic enrichment opportunities and support, we are changing the trajectory for students whose backgrounds are underrepresented in higher education. Nearly all Breakthrough SJC students are from low-income backgrounds and will be the first in their families to graduate from college. Breakthrough San Juan Capistrano is one of 25 sites belonging to the national Breakthrough Collaborative network, and is the only site in Southern California.
