We are excited to introduce our Executive Director, Jessica Deller-Hubbard, who joined Breakthrough San Juan Capistrano in June. ✨

Jessica is a longtime champion of educational access and opportunity. She brings both professional depth and lived experience to this work, and she believes in the power of lifting up students by surrounding them with support, challenge, and community. As a first-generation college graduate, she understands exactly why our mission matters and what it can unlock for young people. 🎓💙

Since stepping into her role, Jessica has jumped in with energy, purpose, and a genuine love for our students and families. We are thrilled for everything ahead. 🚀

📚 What was a book you loved growing up?

So many of us can point to a story that shaped us, comforted us, or opened our world in a new way. At Breakthrough, we want every student to experience that same magic.

This December we are launching our first annual BT Holiday BookFest. Students and families will come together to celebrate the season, enjoy a meal, and choose a bag of books to take home and keep forever. Our goal is simple. We want every Breakthrough student to walk out with stories that inspire them and support their growth as readers.

If you would like to support this event, here is how you can help:
• Donate new or gently used books for grades 4 through 12
• Drop off donations at St. Margaret’s Episcopal School
• Send us a message to coordinate a pickup
