✨TEACHER OF THE YEAR, ELEMENTARY MUSIC✨
This year’s Teacher of the Year is Bill Hunker! This is his 11th year teaching Block Music (Strings) in CUSD. Bill teaches at 7 elementary schools: Wood Canyon, Hidden Hills, George White, John Malcom, Del Obispo, San Juan, and Clarence Lobo.
Bill has a lifelong passion for teaching, always putting his students first through engaging lessons and accessible instructional resources, much of which he curates himself. Bill’s website, mrhunker.com, includes thousands of audio-video accompaniment tracks for musicians of all levels and is completely free to use. Bill has shown tireless dedication to his job within and outside the classroom and is an exemplar of our CUSD Music Staff. Congratulations, Bill!
