We are a student chapter at SJSU representing an organization for choral educators.
SJSU's ACDA chapter seeks to augment the choral experience for music students across all levels of education. We are comprised of Music Education, Performance, and Choral Conducting majors, but are open to choral enthusiasts of all kinds. Hello everyone! Those interested in joining an A Ca****la group, Spartones is accepting online video submissions by September 6th. Here are the steps to auditioning:
1. State your name, year, and major.
2. Tell them what song you're singing and sing it A Ca****la for 60-90 seconds.
3. (Optional/Beatboxers only) Beatbox for at 30 seconds.
4. Upload it to Youtube and send the link to [email protected].
Those who are accepted from auditions will be given a callback through Zoom to test their musicianship and have a short interview. This will happen on September 15th and makeups will be on September 17th. If you want to see a sample audition video the link is right here!
