SJSU College of Engineering

In honor of San José State University’s inaugural Sikh Heritage Week, the College of Engineering hosted 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 -a panel on identity, leadership, and authentic storytelling.

The evening opened with a presentation by Gunraj Singh, Institutional Excellence Student Chair, highlighting Sikh values of equality, resilience, and seva (selfless service).

Attendees left with more than insights, they gained a deeper understanding of Sikh identity, culture, and the power of authentic leadership.
