Although Fall 2026 registration starts in April, now is the time to prep and receive advising ⭐️ BEE early and BEE ready!

You may have noticed the semesterly “Coll of Sci - Major Advising” hold has been placed on your MySJSU account. That’s because spring 2026 registration is approaching!⏰

On October 20th the Spring 2026 class schedule and your personal enrollment appointment will be viewable on your MySJSU account🗓️

⚡️ If you have 59 units and below schedule an appointment with your advisor ASAP to get your hold lifted!

⚡️If you have 60 units and over registered for a workshop ASAP to get your hold lifted!

⚡️If you are changing your major, whether it’s outside the College of Science, within your current department, or to a different College of Science major; You must submit a “CoS Intent to Chance Majors” Google Form for this Fall 2025 semester in order to get your hold lifted!

‼️You will not be able to enroll for Spring 2026 classes until you get your hold removed‼️

If you are 60 units or above (Upper Division), meet us at the College of Science Student Success Center at Duncan Hall 212.

SJSU is partnering with the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) to host an event on campus October 2nd from 1 pm - 4pm in the Student Union Ballroom, focused on awareness of careers in the semiconductor industry.

The speakers for the event are still to come, but the aim is to have discussions regarding the energy requirements and climate impacts of AI, and chip design.

AI is transforming technology at an unprecedented pace, creating new challenges and opportunities for the semiconductor industry. At this event, you’ll explore how innovators are tackling AI’s growing energy demands and the breakthroughs shaping the future of sustainable, high performance computing.
