At Alpha Public Schools, we recognize the importance of learning from our nation’s history and reflecting on the individuals whose courage and perseverance have shaped our communities. Through education, we empower our scholars to think critically, lead with empathy, and contribute to a more just and understanding world.

From hiking local trails and visiting parks to exploring museums, libraries, and community events, there are countless ways to continue learning beyond the classroom. Swipe through for a few of our favorite free activities and make this summer one filled with adventure, curiosity, and discovery!

- Hike at Alum Rock Park
- San José Public Library
- Explore contemporary art at Institute of Contemporary Art San José - Admission is free, and students
- Create a self-guided engineering challenge at a park
