Caio Terra Academy

We recently held our winter 2026 promotions at CTA HQ in San Jose! It was one of our biggest promotions to date, and it was truly amazing to see the growth of the students, the academy, and the association! Congrats to everyone promoted, especially CTA’s newest black belts, Sebastian Wong, Reedell Aragon, Jeff Vuong, Ben Martinez, Inyoung Kim, and Paul Boudreaux!

Keep training, keep evolving, and, above all, keep having fun! 2026 is just getting started! Can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has in store!

People often ask me what I do when I feel burnt out from BJJ. I tell them I focus on having fun, which reminds me of why I fell in love with BJJ to begin with. If you hate your training, change the way you train!

Despite this, we are open today! Full schedule, thanks to everyone who came out yesterday to help make that possible!!

Promotion day is set for Saturday, July 19th! Like always, everyone is welcome! White gis please. There maybe a special class at 10am!

Congrats to all those who were promoted last night in intro class, especially those who received their first stripes! Keep training, remember to have fun and most importantly, take the time to enjoy your journey!

This weekend let’s celebrate 5 year journey with ! Matt and his family have been training with us for over a decade and it’s amazing to see his success both on and off the mat! Can’t wait!!
