Congratulations to sophomore Katie Wong on winning the CCS Badminton Championship! 🏆

Katie returns to the court this Saturday at the CIF NorCal Regional Badminton Championship, where she’ll look to defend her title. Let’s go, Katie!

This beloved event brings our community together while supporting all students at Leigh High School!

The excitement is building up, but we still need help to make it a success - a few volunteer roles (both adult and student) for the Stampede remain open, and we would LOVE to have YOU join in and make it the best one yet!

No experience is required - and students receive volunteer credits for participating.

Vote for Maila Groen: Bay Area News Group girls athlete of the week

The junior won the 500 freestyle at the CCS championships, topping the field with a time of 4:49.19. It was Groen’s third consecutive year winning the event. The Alabama commit also placed fourth in the 200 free to help Leigh place fourth overall at the meet. She currently ranks second in the state in the 500 free.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR LONGHORN STAMPEDE 5K!

The Longhorn Stampede 5K is just around the corner on May 16! This beloved event brings our community together while supporting all students at Leigh High School—it’s truly one of the highlights of the year.

We need your help to make it happen! We’re currently below our volunteer goal for a few key roles:
image.png Course Marshals (Age 18+)
This is a must-fill role—per the City of San Jose, we need 32 Course Marshals for the event to take place. You’ll help keep runners safe and the course running smoothly
🛑 Tow Away Signs Placement
We need a team of volunteers to place tow away signs along the Stampede course a few days prior to the event
No experience needed! We’ll provide all the training and instructions—you just bring your enthusiasm and community spirit.
