On Tuesday, November 10, 2020, the Board of Education unanimously approved to continue distance learning through June 15, 2021.

Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Board of Education unanimously approved to continue distance learning through June 15, 2021. In addition, the Board would consider the potential of reopening and offering in-class instruction at any given time for specific high need students, including students with disabilities, English learners, and newcomers who require additional support as long as it is safe to do so.

Congratulations, Ksenia! You make the CCA community very proud!

College Connection Academy student, Ksenia, won 3rd place in a national writing competition held by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Ksenia first heard about the competition through her principal, Ms. Katimbang. The essay prompt regarded advances in space technology and exploration in the next 50 years. Ksenia was overjoyed and proud of herself, and rightfully so, as she was a winner out of thousands of competing students. “I couldn't stop thinking about it that night and I had to check my email again in the morning to confirm that it was not just a dream, that it was real,” stated Ksenia.
