Latino Business Action Network-LBAN LBAN is a dynamic Silicon Valley-based nonprofit with a big mission to strengthen the U.S. economy by empowering Latino entrepreneurship across the country.

We are a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization with a national reach. Without the rapid creation of new businesses by Latinos in the last five years, the total number of businesses in the country would have suffered a decline. As U.S. Latino businesses continue to grow to the average size of a business in the U.S., it would add $1.1 trillion to the U.S. economy. We believe entrepreneurship is a key d

Some people join LBAN looking for tools to grow their business. For Rich Diaz, Cohort 19 alum of the LBAN Business Scaling Program and CEO of Advanced Resources, the experience also became an opportunity to think about how he could help open doors for those coming next.
As the son of a first-generation immigrant family, Rich credits much of what he has built to the work ethic and values his parents modeled. When he reached a point where he could give back more intentionally, he chose to invest in an ecosystem built around helping others move forward.
"LBAN is one of the few things that made me look up and actually see how much support is out there, from people who genuinely want to help one another."
That is what paying it forward looks like. The support one generation receives becomes an opportunity for the next. People open doors for one another, share what they have learned, and help create a path that others do not have to walk alone.
