Our girls flag football season ended last week with all teams being home a trophy. Congratulations to our 8th grade team for taking 3rd place in the SVAL A division. Our 7th/8th team took 2nd in the A division, and in the first year of the SVAL C division, our 5th/6th team finished 2nd. Congratulations to all our teams for a great season!

Congratulations to our volleyball teams on a great season. Our 8th graders finished 3rd in the SVAL A division, our 5th/6th team finished 4th in the SVAL C division, and our 7th graders were the undefeated SVAL B division champions.

As part of their ocean unit, Kindergarteners visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium where they first took part in the lab to learn about the rocky shore habitat of many ocean animals. After expert guided learning, they were to off to explore the rest of the aquarium using their scientist senses like sight, hear, smell, and touch. What’s your favorite part of the aquarium?

Our 8th graders are back on campus after their East Coast trip. They visited New York and Washington DC last week.

Congratulations to our Track and Field team on a great league finals meet yesterday! We have 8 league champions, 9 second place finishes,
7 third place finishes, 27 PR's, and 2 new school records! Way to go Cougars!

And they're off! Our 8th graders had an early morning wake up call and are on their way to the East Coast for a week of fun and learning.
Theater arts start in first grade at ACDS and we feel lucky to have a school community that supports and cheers on our fellow Cougars. After the show, audience members share their thoughts and praise. Three of a Kind runs one more evening — TOMORROW! You'll have to watch to find out if Baby Bear is lost or just gone.
