Nutrition is the key to every child’s wellbeing. During summer, FMSD will offer free meals to any child 18 years old or younger. See the list of locations and dates below for more information.

From June 23 to July 21, 2026, Shirakawa (665 Wool Creek Drive), Franklin (420 Tully Road), Dahl (3200 Water Street) and College Connection Academy(1855 Lucretia Avenue) will provide breakfast and lunch as follows:

· Breakfast for Summer Program Students: 8:00 am - 8:30 am
· Breakfast for Community (any child 18 years old or younger): 7:15 am - 7:45 am
· Lunch for Summer Program Students: 12:30 pm - 1 pm
· Lunch for Community (any child 18 years old or younger): 11:45 am - 12:15 pm

Please note that Shirakawa will offer free meal services until July 31, 2026. Sites will be closed on July 3.

This week is Learning Disability Week. Everyone learns differently, and those differences help make our classrooms more diverse, creative, and inspiring. Together, we can continue to build a culture of support and acceptance. 💙
