April 1st marks a truly special milestone for our community—20 years since Learning Springs first opened its doors. It’s hard to put into words what this anniversary means, but my heart is full reflecting on how far we’ve come together.

I still remember that very first day so clearly—the excitement, the nerves, and the deep hope that this dream could become something meaningful. Opening Learning Springs was not just about starting a school; it was about creating a place where children who had struggled in traditional settings could finally feel understood, supported, and successful. I remember wondering if we could truly make a difference—and today, I am overwhelmed with gratitude knowing that we have.

Every single day over these past 20 years has brought both challenges and incredible rewards. Our mission has always been to help our students shed the weight of past school anxiety and rediscover what learning can feel like. To watch a child walk through our doors unsure, guarded, or discouraged—and then slowly begin to trust, to engage, to smile, to believe in themselves—is the greatest privilege of my life.

Our students teach me something new every day. Their resilience, their humor, their curiosity, and their growth continue to inspire me beyond measure. They are the heart of Learning Springs.

To our parents, thank you for your trust, your partnership, and your unwavering support. Allowing us to be part of your child’s journey is something I never take for granted. You are an essential part of everything we do, and we are so grateful to walk alongside you.

And to our extraordinary staff—past and present—none of this would be possible without you. Your dedication, compassion, and belief in each child create the environment that makes Learning Springs so special. You are the reason our students feel safe, capable, and valued every day.

What began as a dream has grown into a community filled with heart, purpose, and hope. As we celebrate 20 years, I am filled with gratitude for every child, every family, and every staff member who has been part of this journey.
