Join a thought-provoking conversation about the underground labor that occurs during major sporting events. Expert panelists will discuss how these events attract and become places of risky behavior in relation to s*x work, drugs, and precarious (hidden) labor. Timed with Super Bowl 60, this panel begins a series of conversations underpinned by sports, human rights, social development, and the legacy of mega sporting events. While these events attract positive attention and can provide development opportunities in local communities, we draw attention to how they can exacerbate the problematic issues people face every day.
