Underrepresented students are highly encouraged to apply!
The STEM Core at San Jose City College is a cohort-based learning community seeking to increase the number of students in the fields of engineering, computer science and tech-related fields. Students in the program will be guaranteed admission into the two-semester sequence, take courses together, and compete for high-quality paid internships at places like NASA Ames, Lawrence Livermore and many more.

This summer, we placed 14 STEM Core students into paid summer internships!!! Students are learning about cyber security, chemistry, engineering (bio, electrical, mechanical, software) and computer science!
We are now recruiting for the next academic year! Feel free to share this flyer with anyone who may be interested in tech! They'll need to be eligible to take Intermediate Algebra (Math 13) or Geometry (Math 14) to apply!
