STEM Enrichment Online Classes for 2020-2021 School Year - REGISTER NOW

Each curriculum has 32 classes which spans for 10 months. For a convenient payment option we have $80/month for 10 months.

Beginner Programming - Scratch
Grades 1 - 3
Schedule: 9/14/2020 to 6/7/2021
(Monday, 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM MONDAY CLASSES. Monthly fees are $80/month for 10 months. )
Learn and experience the power of computer programming ! Our budding coders will learn the fundamentals of coding and apply it to create simple games and applications. They will start to sculpt their coding muscles using a block-based coding platform. During this 10 month long course students will learn: Basic programming and coding concepts that programmers use in their daily work To think, imagine, explore and create while having FUN! To apply the computational thinking concepts to create small games and animations. No classes on 11/23,12/21,12/28,01/18,02/15,04/05,05/31.

Intermediate Game Design

Grades: 3 - 5
Schedule: 9/15/2020 to 6/8/2021
(Tuesday, 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM TUESDAY CLASSES. Monthly fees are $80/month for 10 months.)
The best way to become proficient in coding is through building games. This teaches rigorous computer science concepts such as loops, functions, arrays, switch statements, inheritance, and more. In this course, students will learn the basics of coding using Scratch and Roblox interface. They will then use this and enhance their creative skills to animate their games and share it with the rest of their class. With our small class size, interactive and inquiry based teaching students will learn Critical thinking, Collaboration, Creativity and Computational skills. They will interact with the instructors and other students in the virtual classrooms while showcasing their skills. No classes 11/17,11/24, 12/22, 12/29, 02/16, 04/06.

Intermediate Programming - Python

Grades: 3 - 5
Schedule: 9/16/2020 to 6/2/2021
(Wednesday, 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM WEDNESDAY CLASSES. Monthly fees are $80/month for 10 months.)
Python is an in-demand computer programming language, used by companies like Google and YouTube. It is being used successfully in various applications including internet and web developments, general purpose applications, software and scientific development, and data analysis. Learn this versatile language and experience the power of computer programming in your hands! Our budding coders will learn the fundamentals of coding using the Python language and apply it to create simple games and applications. Creations include: Rock, Paper, Scissors!, Digital Fortune Teller, and more. The students will meet once a week for 32 weeks. The cost of this course will be $80 a month for 10 months. Prerequisites: Prior programming background a plus but not required Requirements: Windows machines/ Mac/ Chromebook and a stable Wifi connection. No Classes on the following dates 11/11, 11/25, 12/23,12/30, 02/17, 04/07.

(Thursday, 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM THURSDAY CLASSES. Monthly fees are $80/month for 10 months.)

Minecraft Mania - Taste of STEM

Grades: 1 - 5
Schedule: 9/18/2020 to 6/4/2021
(Friday, 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM FRIDAY CLASSES. Monthly fees are $80/month for 10 months.)
Calling all Minecraft Gamers! Don't just play vanilla Minecraft! Parents, this series takes your child's interest in video gaming to creating something using sustainable practices. Students will time travel to ancient civilizations like Egypt, Greece, Rome, traverse through medieval times and industrial age as they learn about stable and strong structures through the ages. They will learn about sustainability in cities and discuss how water, waste, transportation, and energy/electricity worked in our past cities as well as our current cities. Then children will turn the time to the future and apply what they learned from the cities of the past and modern times to design a city of the future! Requirements: Windows machines/ Mac/ Chromebook . No classes on the following dates 11/27, 12/25, 01/01, 02/19, 04/02, 04/09.
