Steps into Success started as a one hour program delivered to students at Quick Learning School. Prior to commencement of state required Insurance and Real Estate Pre-Licensing class, students would learn about the steps to pass their state exam. We found the program to be valuable in assisting our students to create an effective mindset to successfully pass their state exam the first time! It was
in 2006, when a difficult life experience made me realize how powerful it would be to teach this program to our youth. Our life experiences at any age can alter our lives, for some in a positive direction and at times for some in a negative direction. I had opportunity to study professional development tools since I was 13, with Trainers like Jack Canfield, Anthony Robbins, Mark Victor Hansen, T. I had the mindset to over come the challenges of being a teen mom in the early 90's because of my training and assistance from my family. The opportunity I had to learn tools for success was due to the fact that my mom had invested in my education. You see, we do not learn these tools in school, unless you join the leadership programs. It was in 2007 that I became passionate about helping young people to learn these tools. To change their Focus in a positive direction. I believe it is imperative that we get these tools in the hands of all young people, So that they may create an effective mindset to support them through High School, College and Life. One valuable tool I teach is how to use the Power of Intention and the Power of Focus to achieve their short term and long term goals.
2008-2013, Steps into Success program was developed into a 5-Day Goal setting play shop. We held these play shops at Milpitas High School to the Travel Academy students. Fuqua, Travel Academy Director, until she retired in 2013. Quick Learning School sponsors the play shops with the assistance of Insurance Professionals in Milpitas -San Jose, California.
