Hope everyone had an amazing 4th of July weekend! 🇺🇸 We hope you had a chance to relax, spend time with family and friends, and enjoy the holiday.

We're excited to welcome everyone back to the dojo Tuesday night (tomorrow)! Over the weekend we made a few upgrades to make the dojo an even better place to train, including adding a little more mat space and refreshing the overall look and feel.

And of course... we topped it all off with some brand new DOLLAMUR Flexi-Connect mats! 🥋🔥

We can't wait to see everyone back on the tatami!

Tonight we celebrate the graduation of our 5 seniors. We are so proud of each of these Judoka for all they have done in the classroom and on the mat! We wish them all of the success in their next journey. Good news is that none of them are going to far away so we will keep in touch and follow their journeys closely. The CJ Judo community will miss having them around the mats on a daily basis, but we are excited to see all them embark on their own path and we hope Judo can play a positive role in their lives for a long time to come.

Highschool Championship was a big success for our squad. We took 6 athletes and came home with a record of 19 wins and just 3 defeats on the day! 3 Gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze! 🥇🥇🥇🥈🥉🥉 Very proud of todays performance! Big thank you to all families who came to support the kids and of course our amazing coaches make sure our team is always improving! .g was in attendance motivating and coaching the squad!

10+ years on the mats. One more big moment together.

Today, Haruto and Sela traded the gi for a singlet and met the moment—both making the Finals at the Prospect High Varsity Tournament. It was special watching them compete, push themselves, and support each other, even while representing different schools.

From childhood training partners to senior leaders, their journey says everything about consistency, respect, and love for the grind. Proud of you both and excited to see how you finish out your final season.

 Can’t wait for Judo season 💪🥋
