We serve educators in the San Jose area. The Chapter was chartered in 1956 and serves active and retired women in any field of education.

It was a joyous early celebration for me, a tremendous honor, and a heartfelt surprise to be named the 2026 recipient of the distinguished service award to DKG California, with festivities unfolding at the Regional Conferences in April and May. On March 14th, Area 4 vibrantly embodied the theme “We Lift Our Voices With Love,” honoring numerous remarkable women and then showering me with an overwhelming outpouring of love. The women in DKG from the South Bay and Peninsula in Area 4, who have witnessed my journey since my early days in DKG leadership, truly lifted their voices in loving tribute to me.

Gamma Psi was well represented at the Area 4 Conference. Barbara, Sylvia, and Kelly were honored for their service to the chapter and area. Toni was surprised to receive recognition for service to DKG California and a lovely spray of roses.
