Evergreen Valley High School Wrestling

After 3 great years, we would like to congratulate Coach Emmanuel Scott () as he has accepted a coaching job at Iowa Lakes CC as a graduate assistant for their wrestling program. Coach Scott has been a great addition to the coaching staff and his presence will certainly be missed. As a EVHS alum he will always be a cougar and integral part of the wrestling program here at Evergreen Valley High School.

Marcos Jimenez will be wrestling at San Francisco State University next season. We are very excited to watch him at the next level.

We would like to congratulate our 220lb Graduating Senior Matthew Putich on his commitment to Doane University in Nebraska. Matthew, you’ve made us all proud with your dedication and commitment to both sports. We wish you the best of luck & hope that your time with us as a wrestler will pay dividends on the field!!

2020 Evergreen Valley Cougars - CCS Championship Highlights

Successful weekend for the EV Girls at the Baler Bash Tournament in Hollister. Congratulations to EV’s first ever Baler Bash Champion Alana Washington 🥇 🤠 Also, Congratulations to An Nguyen (3rd) and Maddie Lazo (4th) ✨

56th Annual Overfelt Classic Team Champions 🏆 Both JV & Varsity come home with both respective team titles. Varsity completed the weekend with 10 medalists including Champion & Outstanding Wrestler Marcos Jimenez and champions Calvin Antonio, Christian Antonio, Josh Ballesteros & Carlos Jimenez 🐾

Congratulations to the first ever Girls MidCals Team Champions! The EVHS Girls Wrestling Team scored 137 team points to take home the title! 🏆🐾
