Today, we celebrated our Kindergarten students as they prepare to move into Elementary, carrying with them the independence, confidence, and love of learning developed in their Primary years.

We also celebrated our Elementary students, and Middle Schoolers who graduate and get ready for high school.
Your growth into becoming confident leaders of the future (as reflected in your speeches at the ceremony), problem-solvers, collaborators, and kind young people ready for the next chapter, is a power of force!

In Montessori education, transitions aren't endings. They are moments of readiness, reflection, and growth. See you again!

🦒Last evening, Casa di Mir's Elementary and Middle School programs showcased their art, music, and cultural studies work accomplished during the school year! ✨🔥 It was an amazing turnout of Casa families, alumni, parents and supporters at the 2026 Casa Cultural Night!

In Montessori philosophy, cultural studies are a significant part of the curriculum as it helps children understand the interconnectedness of people, places, and traditions.

Today Casa's Primary program honored dads and father figures by inviting them to a thoughtfully curated event on campus. Our youngest students gathered to sing, paint, and play games with dads. 🎨

🦒Casa Upper Elementary students are back from the Nature’s Classroom Institute. 🍃

They bring back much more than memories -- through outdoor exploration 🌿, teamwork 🤝, shared challenges 🧠, and meaningful moments out in nature🌳-- the experiences instilled the kind of learning that transforms into confidence, new perspectives, and connections.

Casa's field trips are designed for students to build resilience 💪, independence ✨, adaptability, leadership, and a deeper sense of responsibility to the world around them. 🧘

Welcome back Middle Schoolers from your adventure at Mother Lode River Center! The last couple of days have been full of exploration, team-building challenges, s'mores in the rain, real conversations under the stars, and... zip lines, high ropes course, and whitewater rafting! ⛺🍫🙌

This is Montessori in action — students challenged, connected, and fully present in the world around them. 🌿

🦒Casa families and parent volunteers aren't shy about expressing their love for our teachers and staff. But this week they're pouring their hearts out to make everyone feel extra special.

From decorating the school with sweet messages, to setting up coffee and bagel carts, to hosting live ice-cream stations, taco lunch, and more! Casa parents are creating special experiences everyday on the campus to express their appreciation.

🌹🦒It's a special day for our Primary Program -- tables are set, yoga mats are out, and the melody is flowing on campus!

After days of practice singing, "I think you're wonderful too," among other songs, students are ready to show their love for moms and celebrate Mother's Day at Casa with a Mommy-n-Me yoga session, music, craft, and a breakfast served by our amazing dad volunteers! 🎤🌻❤️
