Esteban and Laura Adopt

We are so excited to have X's birthmother visit this weekend! Although we have texted a lot, we haven't seen her since we left North Carolina last year. We are all going together to do his first haircut tomorrow and can't wait to hang out this weekend!

This was our adoption finalization day with our son.

Esteban figured out how to coach and change X's diaper at the same time. He could keep an eye on the wrestling meet through that window and be a great daddy!

We have been looking forward to spending the holidays as a family for a really long time. Seeing him open presents, play with his cousins, spend time with my parents, and visit local holiday traditions really brought us so much joy. We can't wait to fill our home with even more laughter and fun!

Having fun exploring a new children's play land. He loved crawling and the pirate ship. We also met up with six other moms and babies from a mom's group we are part of. It was a blast to play with friends!

First time on the park swing. He loved it! X wanted to just lean back and relax once we got going! We can't wait for many more park outings with our family.

We are so excited to now be a family of three!! The past eight months with our little one have been amazing! We are now hoping to adopt at least one more child. We are open to multiples as well. We love the relationship we have with his first mom and all of the firsts we are celebrating as a family. Please keep your eyes open for us and help us connect with someone.

We are so excited to announce that we adopted Xavier Arthur Saldaña! He was born on April 19, 2016. We always said that we would look down one day and understand why we waited so long. It finally makes sense - we were waiting for him. We are also
blessed with an incredible birth mother that is now part of our family.
