We are thrilled to share that KIPP San Jose Collegiate educator Mr. Mihir Athavale has been named a 2023 Yale University Educator Award winner! He was nominated by his former student Annika Braceros, a Kipp Heritage Academy and KSJC alum who is now studying at Yale.

Annika shared: "Mr. A is the epitome of what a teacher should be. He’s great at explaining concepts and makes sure that no student is left behind. I’m immensely grateful to have had him as a teacher."
