About the Instructor: Gina Covello holds a Master of Arts degree in Hispanic Studies and International Policy from the Monterey Institute of International Studies and a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in English Literature and Language and Culture Studies (honors) from the University of California, Santa Cruz

. She has a California Adult Education Teaching Credential and over 25 years of experience teaching English and Spanish to students of all ages. In addition, Gina has taught language arts and business communication at the elementary through college levels. She has also coached students in Time Management, Organization, and Study skills. She is an approved vendor of Meyers Learning Center and Ocean Grove School District (Homeschooling). In the past, Gina studied in Mexico and Chile, as well as serving in the U.S. Peace Corps in Costa Rica; these rich experiences help infuse her teaching with cultural insight and real-world knowledge.

Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence asks for new plush and books for their holiday party. We collect throughout the year. This year, we are able to donate 56 books, 12 books bundles, and 1 BAB plush bunny. Total spent $76. Some items were donated through BuyNothing Group and some items were purchased on clearance or sale or Friends of Bascom Library book sales.
