The USRC is seeking SPARK Mentors for the 2025-2026 Academic Year!

Are you interested in becoming a leader in SJSU’s UndocuSpartan community? This paid position offers the opportunity to mentor first-year students, access resources, and develop leadership skills. As a SPARK Mentor, you’ll staff our front desk and support visitors at the UndocuSpartan Student Resource Center.

Thank you for your interest in participating in the upcoming Noche De Familia: Proteja sus derechos/Know Your Rights workshop at SJSU. This event will take place on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 6-8 PM at the Native American Indigenous Student Success Center in the former Spartan Memorial Chapel. Please RSVP using this form and please let us know how many guests/family/community members will join you. Thank you! Note: this workshop will be primarily held in Spanish.

“All people in the United States, regardless of immigration status, have certain rights and protections under the U.S. Constitution. The Red Cards help people assert their rights and defend themselves in many situations, such as when ICE agents go to a home.”

Stop by the USRC to pick up some red cards, available in different languages. We also encourage students and staff to schedule schedule an appointment with the immigration legal services to receive a free 1:1 council.
