Saptak Music School / Anupama Chandratreya Anupama Chandratreya is the Director of Saptak Music School. Anupama is a versatile vocalist in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Saptak Music School, located in the bay area (San Francisco, San Jose & Oakland), provides lessons in Hindustani Classical (North Indian style) music
for children and adults of all ages. Anupama’s repertoire includes a wide variety of all Gayaki (singing) styles
including Hindustani Classical, Light Indian Vocal, Ghazal, Bhajan, Bhavgeet
and Folk music. Anupama is one of the few vocalists with

unique ability
to excel in more than one particular style of vocal music. Anupama Chandratreya is a rare combination of natural talent and grace,
with an uncanny ability to sing in a way that speaks to your heart

On June 19, 2021 Saptak Music School hosted a fundraising concert to help raise funds for India's COVID-19 relief efforts. We are thrilled to report that we exceeded our goal of $5,000 and want to thank everyone who attended and/or donated! All funds benefited the Jnana Prabodhini Foundation in their COVID-19 relief work.
