The Leland High School FIRST Robotics Team is a student-run organization devoted to promoting science and technology at school and in the community.

We participate in the FIRST Robotics Competition.

Last weekend, we competed at our second event of the season, the Pinnacles event in Hollister, CA. After ranking #1 out of 28 teams in qualifications, we teamed up with , , and in playoffs. Together, we went undefeated and brought home the gold! Additionally, we were recognized with the Industrial Design award.

Our next event is the Northern California State Championship this coming weekend on April 10-12!

Living up to our name, Quixilver brought home double silver medals from the California District Half Moon Bay event last weekend! 🥈🥈

After ranking #2 out of 26 teams in qualifications, we secured a finalist finish in playoffs with our alliance partners and 🥈.

Beyond the scoreboard, we were honored to receive the Engineering Inspiration Award 🥈 as well as having our mentor, Claudius Tewari, selected as a Woodie Flowers Finalist Award nominee.

Our team had a fantastic time in Houston for the FIRST Championship. As the Alliance 8 captain on Archimedes field, we made a strong run through the playoffs with the help of teams Cerbotics 4400, FRC Team 836 The RoboBees, and FRC Team 11 M.O.R.T. to finish 4th overall in the division. We thank all the students, parents, mentors, and sponsors who helped make the 2025 REEFSCAPE season amazing for the team!

This past weekend, 604 competed at the Contra Costa Regional. We went undefeated through the qualification matches with a record of 12 wins and 0 losses! As captain of the #2 alliance, we made a deep playoff run, making it to the finals with our alliance partners FRC Team 3478 - PrepaTec - LamBot and FRC Team 9143 Armor Robotics. We are honored to have team mentor James Best win the Woodie Flowers Finalist Award, and are proud of the team for earning the Industrial Design Award. A continued thanks to all the students, mentors, parents, and sponsors who support this team to its best!

604 had a great time in champs, winning the Milstein Division with alliance partners Team 9483 Istanbul Wildcats, FRC Team 78 - AIR Strike, and Londonderry High School Robotics - FRC 1058 to advance to Einstein Field. Placing 5th in Einstein, we are also proud of winning the Autonomous Award! Our sponsors, parents, mentors, and students have all contributed to making this a wonderful season for the team!

The team competed at the Monterey Bay Regional last weekend. We found great success with alliance captain MadTown Robotics - FRC Team 1323 and partner Team 2035 The Rockin Bots, as we advanced to the finals and won the competition! We are honored to have team mentor Eugene Fang receive the Woodie Flowers Finalist Award, and the team receiving the Innovation in Control Award as well.

On March 21, the team attended Williams Elementary School's Science Fair as judges for the various projects. It was a great environment to indulge in the STEM experience with younger students!
