🌸Spring Showcase🌸
Following our music performances, we celebrated our students’ work from our incredible art🎨 and science🔬 programs. Students in grades 1-8 each had 2 pieces of artwork displayed, and science projects from SFC’s junior high students were on display.
Artwork aligned with the theme of Gardens and Insects🍃🪷🪰🐜 Students used a variety of mediums such as clay, foils, watercolors, and recycled materials in their drawings, paintings, sculptures, and mixed media art.
Science projects explored topics such as slime, plastics, bubble gum, and lip gloss. Students were tasked with creating their own experiment ideas, gathering materials, testing, collecting data, and presenting their findings.📊👩🏻🔬👨🏼🔬
Huge thanks go to Mrs. Saca, our art teacher, and Mrs. Pintar, our science teacher, for all their hard work towards making the night a success and making student learning fun!✨

Wax Museum Day ⛩️📜👑
As a culminating project for their study of Ancient Worlds, SFC’s 6th graders transformed into living wax museum figures.
Each student researched and assumed the role of a significant person from their studies, and when a museum visitor pressed their button, the student came to life, explaining their historical importance. The 6th grade students presented to other students, parents, faculty, and staff✨
Such a fun way to make learning history come to life!
