NEXT WEEK: A THREE-PARTED PARTY
Next week, for my birthday, there will be THREE parts to the party:

Part 1: 33% Self Indulgent

Riley is turning 33, so the night will be 33% self indulgent! That means Riley will teach whatever the heck they think would be fun for 1/3 of the classes (L4, specifically) and every third social dance will be a song they like that isn't played for WCS otherwise (the other two songs in each mini set will be right down center plate common WCS songs).

Part 2: Riley Says. . .

Throughout the classes and the social dance, there may be queues that start as, “Riley says. . .” followed by an invitation to. . . do something! Maybe it’ll be a song with no left side passes, or a song where followers try to ONLY triple step. That sort of thing!

Normally, for my birthday, I set the theme to rainbows. This year, I invite you to wear something that represents something you love! Maybe a band t-shirt or event swag or even a costume (hopefully one you can dance in without getting too warm).

I’m excited to share my birthday with you all. I expect it’ll be a super fun night! (or at least I’m designing it to be especially fun for me, hehe 😈 )
