San Jose ICA Print Center The ICA Print Center is the only open access printmaking studio in the South Bay. The studio accommodates 6 artists.

The Print Center is equipped with a 32 x 60 inch Charles Brand electric etching press that accommodates a maximum plate and paper size of 30 x 40 inches. We have a new state-of-the-art Amergraph screen and plate exposure+vaccuum table, also accommodating a maximum plate and screen size of 30 x 40 inches. We use copper plates and an acrylic ground etching method with ferric chloride for our etching

. The Center is fully equipped for monotype and intaglio printing using oil-based and water-soluble inks. We use non-toxic materials whenever possible to ensure a safe and health-minded working environment. Our digital studio has an Epson Pro 9880 digital printer and 2 iMac computers with CS5.
