Hindu YUVA will be having shakha this evening at 4:30 at the Tower Hall Lawn opposite the Library. What will we be doing? Some Yoga, Fun traditional Indian games and a session for new students giving tips for on-campus jobs, places to visit around San Jose, info about temples, Gurudwara, etc. Join us at 4:30 PM

Hello Fall 2012 Spartans,

I hope everyone is doing fine, and are done with formalities like visa, flight tickets etc. I am writing this to announce that Hindu YUVA has planned to provide temporary accommodation for incoming Fall 2012 students.

All those who wish to get temporary accommodation please fill in the form at http://goo.gl/Wm5PX . We have limited resources so we’ll process requests on first come first serve basis. If you are arriving in a group, please make sure all the members fill the form individually. We are trying to accommodate as many students as possible. Please note filling up the form does not mean that we guarantee temporary accommodation.

We’ll send a confirmation mail to all the candidates who can be accommodated. As students who received similar help from our seniors, we are helping you and thus passing on the tradition. However, please do not treat this as a backup option because it may deny accommodation to a student who is really in need.
