My name is Jessica Lew-Munoz, and I’m excited to introduce myself as the new Head Coach for BCP Rugby. I played rugby for 5 years at Santa Clara University and I am also a 2nd-year Math Teacher at Bell.

I’d also like to introduce Coach Lorenzo Pietersen, a born-and-raised South African and loyal Springboks supporter who’s joining our staff as a new assistant coach. Furthermore, the amazing Coach Mike Smith and Coach Floyd McGaughy continue to be part of our coaching team, proudly carrying on the BCP Rugby legacy.

First off, sorry for the delay in communication — I just learned that we had a page and finally got access to it today (I’m still a newbie, so thank you for your patience as I learn the ropes!).

Today we hosted our annual Turkey Bowl, and we had a fantastic turnout. Huge thanks to everyone who was able to make it out. I’ve heard the feedback that weekends work better for most families — totally understandable as we’re all juggling work and travel (myself included).

With that in mind, I’ll be sure to schedule our Christmas Bowl on a Saturday — because of course, Saturday is a rugby day!

First new post on this page in quite a while! We wanted to wish a very happy retirement to Terry Ryan! After 12+ years coaching and many more counseling, TR is deservingly taking some time for himself and his (non-rugby) family. We all owe a great deal of gratitude to Terry for not only his work on the field, but for navigating the College Park Rugby team back onto campus at Bellarmine after a ~20 year hiatus.
