art from around the world🌎🎨
Our Parkview Elementary students explored artistic traditions from across the globe, creating everything from Japanese clay sushi and Aztec Talavera suns to Indian-inspired designs and Picasso’s Spanish Bull.
Through art, our students and their families celebrated the cultures and creativity that connect us all 🍥

Happy Cinco de Mayo!! 🇲🇽
Art is a powerful way to learn and celebrate culture heritage. Today we celebrate the influential Hispanic figures our students brought to life through their artwork. Images feature collages/ portraits of Frida Kahlo, coyotes inspired by Mexican artist Rufino Tamayo, guitars inspired by Marcela Aragones and self portraits inspired by Mexican artist Diego Rivera.

We’re excited to share one of our newest partnerships with Child Advocates 💙
Thank you to SV Creates for highlighting the power of collaboration by introducing us to this organization. Here are a few moments from our staff training, where we equipped C.A.S.A volunteers with creative mental health tools, along with snapshots from our time working with students at Child Advocates of Silicon Valley.
We’re grateful to be part of this meaningful work and the impact it continues to have in our community.
