Our August student spotlight is Victoria!

Hi, my name is Victoria. I am 9 years old and will be going into 4th grade this fall. For fun I like to read, play video + games and draw with my little sister. I have 2 cats and a fish tank with a lot of fish. I recently started playing piano this year. My teacher, Mr. Aleks, has been great. He is very nice and has taught me to read music. Later on I hope to learn harder and faster songs on the piano.

Meet another one of our student teachers:
Amy is an enthusiastic junior in high school in San Jose. After close to ten years of playing piano, she has honed her skills and technique through dedicated training and performances. As a student teacher, Amy focuses on helping each individual student maximize in their growth and learning to become a better pianist, whilst fostering an appreciation for music.

Dr. Dante’s summer camp students had an amazing, successful week! They learned new pieces, strengthened their scales, sharpened their music theory and aural skills, and made tremendous progress by the end of the week. We also celebrated a birthday and had a ton of fun playing games!
