Grupo Folklorico Los Laureles Professional Mexican dance company and academy in San Jose, CA. Grupo Folklorico Los Laureles was founded in the summer of 2007 by Ashley Lopez.

Los Laureles began as a small group of family members coming together to learn traditional Mexican dances. In the winter of 2007 MACLA (Movimiento de Arte y Cultura Latino Americana) opened their doors and became 'home' to Los Laureles. In the past 15 years, Laureles has expanded to 15 classes ranging from 4 and up. They have performed for parades, private parties, HP, google, Danzantes Unidos, Ga

rlic Festival, and many more venues. Laureles are proud to produce 2 formal recitals every year showcasing the Bay Area's talent and love for the Mexican culture.
