eaching vocal music. The age group I cater to is 3.5 year old to adults mostly group classes and a few 1on1. I like to keep my class sizes small which allows me to give individual attention. 🌟 A Teacher's Joy 🌟

One of the most rewarding aspects of teaching music is witnessing the transformation that happens beyond the notes and melodies.

When Rihaa (Araddhya Das) first joined my classes, she was a shy and hesitant child who often struggled with stage fright and nervousness while performing. Like many young students, standing before an audience felt intimidating.

Over the years, through consistent learning, practice, and encouragement, I have watched her confidence blossom.

Recently, she surprised everyone by volunteering—entirely on her own—to sing at a family gathering. Not only did she step forward with confidence, but she also delivered an impeccable performance, earning the appreciation of everyone present.

Moments like these remind us that music education is not just about learning compositions. It is about finding one's voice, building self-confidence, and developing the courage to share that voice with others.

So proud of you, Rihaa! Wishing you many more musical milestones in the years ahead. 🎶❤️

🎶 We are thrilled to kick off our first Summer Workshop of the year this Sunday, June 7!

At SuryAnjali, we have a long-standing tradition of utilizing the summer months—when students often have more time to devote to their music sadhana—to create special learning opportunities beyond the regular classroom experience.

These workshops allow students to interact with accomplished artists, gain fresh perspectives, and deepen their understanding and appreciation of Hindustani music.

For this first workshop of the season, we are especially excited to welcome not one, but two distinguished visiting artists from India, offering our students a rare opportunity to learn from both the vocal and instrumental traditions of our music.

This is just the beginning of our summer enrichment series, with additional artist workshops and special learning opportunities planned later in June and July.

Looking forward to an inspiring morning of music, learning, and meaningful interaction!

When I read and see so many public appearances amd contacts Ashaji has had sharing her guidance of music all around her, like a selfless guru i realized why this loss for me is so personal. all I kmow is a handful songs of hers 12k songs learned thru radio at childhood or from my mamas gramaphone.. but that was a life's worth learning which I still havent been able to reproduce even partially..
This is not a tribute to u ashaji. Just wanted to hold on to u as much as I can .. plz forgive all the mistakes.. specially hard after recovering from my major surgery.. but love singing this song..
