πŸšŒπŸ’› Our Final Energy Bus Morning Assembly of the Year! πŸ’›πŸšŒ

Last Friday, we came together for our final Energy Bus Morning Assembly of the 2025–2026 school year. As we reflected on all that we have accomplished together, we celebrated the five Energy Bus principles that have guided our school community all year long:

⭐ Create a Positive Vision – Know where you want to go and focus on positive outcomes. Having a vision gives you direction and helps turn your goals into reality.

⭐ Fuel Your Ride with Positive Energy – Fill your day with smiles, gratitude, kindness, laughter, and optimism. Positive energy is contagious!

⭐ No Bullies (Energy Vampires) Allowed – Do not let negativity steal your joy. Stand strong, make positive choices, and help create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

⭐ Love Your Passengers – Treat others with kindness, respect, and compassion. When we lift others up, we make our entire school community stronger.

⭐ Enjoy the Ride – Life is a journey. Celebrate the successes, learn from the challenges, and enjoy each moment along the way.

This year, our students demonstrated these principles every day through their actions, leadership, perseverance, and care for one another. We are incredibly proud of the positive culture our students, staff, and families have built together.

As we head into summer and prepare for new adventures ahead, remember that you are the driver of your own bus. Keep spreading positivity, believing in yourself, and making a difference wherever you go.

Thank you for an amazing year, IJAVVE! πŸšŒβœ¨πŸ’›

πŸŽ‰πŸŒŸ Celebrating Biliteracy and Achievement! πŸŒŸπŸŽ‰

We are incredibly proud of our 8th grade students in the ALAS program who were recognized during our ALAS Celebration and awarded their Biliteracy Attainment Certificates! These students have dedicated years to developing their Spanish language skills throughout their elementary and middle school journey, and this recognition honors their hard work, perseverance, and commitment to bilingualism.

This achievement is also an important milestone toward future opportunities. Should these students continue their language studies in high school, they will have the opportunity to earn the prestigious State Seal of Biliteracy upon graduation.

A special thank you to Mr. Ernie Sandoval for his dedication to teaching and inspiring our students through the ALAS program. We would also like to recognize Ms. Cindy Parico and Ms. Desiree Tabizon for their continued support as valued members of the ALAS team at IJAVVE.

Thank you to all the families, staff, and community members who joined us to celebrate our students and support this special event. We are so proud of our students for embracing the gift of bilingualism and multicultural learning!

Β‘Felicidades a nuestros estudiantes! πŸŽ“πŸŽ‰πŸŒŽ

🍦✨ Sweet Memories to End the Year! ✨🍦

Our TK students from Ms. Dayla's class and 1st graders from Ms. Tong's class came together for a very special Big Buddy and Little Buddy celebration! Students enjoyed making their own delicious ice cream sundaes, choosing from vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry ice cream, along with more than 15 fun toppings to create their perfect treat.

More importantly, this activity gave our students a chance to celebrate the friendships, kindness, and connections they have built throughout the year. It was wonderful to see our older and younger students working together, sharing laughs, helping one another, and creating lasting memories.

A huge thank you to Ms. Dayla and Ms. Tong for organizing such a sweet experience for our students. What a fun and memorable way to wrap up an amazing school year! πŸ¨β€οΈπŸŽ‰

Planting Seeds of Generosity

Ms. Sankarappan's 2nd grade class wore many hats as they became both farmers and entrepreneurs! Through their hard work and dedication, students learned valuable lessons about growing, marketing, and selling their products.

The most inspiring part of their project was their decision to give back. These young entrepreneurs chose to donate a portion of their earnings to the school library, purchasing new books that will be enjoyed by students for years to come.

We are incredibly proud of their generosity, teamwork, and community spirit. Their efforts demonstrate that even our youngest learners can make a meaningful difference while developing important real-world skills.

πŸ§ͺ❄️ Science came to life in Ms. Asaravala’s 5th grade class today!

Our students had an exciting hands-on experience exploring liquid nitrogen, learning about states of matter, temperature changes, and the fascinating effects of extreme cold. One of the highlights was making Dragon’s Breath cereal, which created a smoky effect as students observed science in action!

From watching liquids rapidly change to exploring how materials react at incredibly low temperatures, students were engaged, curious, and full of questions throughout the lesson. Experiences like these help bring classroom learning to life and inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators.

A huge thank you to Ms. Asaravala for creating such a memorable and engaging science experience for our students. The videos and reactions were amazing! πŸ”¬βœ¨πŸ‰πŸ’¨

Our 5th-grade students in Ms. Asaravala's class recently took part in a community cleanup activity, helping pick up litter around our campus and surrounding area. As part of the experience, students discussed the importance of community service and how even small acts of kindness and responsibility can make a meaningful difference.

Through this hands-on activity, students learned that creating positive change starts with simple actions. By taking care of their environment and giving back to their community, they discovered how individual efforts can contribute to a larger impact on the world around them.

We are proud of our students for demonstrating responsibility, teamwork, and a commitment to making their community a better place! πŸŒŽπŸ’š
