DNC night Super Moon August 19, 2024, 10PM PST

Last night between 11:30PM-and 12:01AM. I opened the garage to park my truck inside for charging. what I saw, first I thought it is Northern Light. Unfortunately, the color from Buring California is from fires.
The bright, eerie glow you saw in the sky is likely due to smoke and ash from the fires reflecting and scattering the light. Unfortunately, such natural beauty is marred by such destructive events. I hope you and your family are safe and that the fires are contained soon
