Silver Oak Elementary School

Our wonderful 5th graders celebrated end of the year with a delightful potluck picnic! What an amazing way for kids to come together and cherish their elementary school memories! Thanks to all the great parents, wonderful teachers and staff who organized this beautiful picnic for the 5th graders!

With our very own Silver Oak students from 1st - 6th grades and 3 months of dedication and hard work, the Frog and Toad play completed its three wonderful shows on 6/3/2026 and 6/4/2026.

The play participants did an amazing job and the audience was simply mesmerized by how beautiful the performance was. 

Thank you to our students, parents, and our main lead volunteers Harleen Bains and Susanne Sul, and all of our parent volunteers for helping to make the Frog and Toad play a success. A special mention also goes out to Amanda Davis, our lovely parent volunteer who helped with the spectacular balloon decorations. Thank you to Cherylle Marsala, our amazing volunteer for doing the gorgeous programs. 

We would also like to express our gratitude to Ms. Carol Romo from TheatreFun for her dedication and mentorship that helped the kids do such a commendable job!

We look forward to more shows in the future and are always looking for parents to lead and volunteer to make such events a success.

Our amazing 5th and 6th Graders at Silver Oak Elementary put up a stellar Band performance. Thank you to our band instructor, Mr. Powell for teaching them so well and all the students did amazing. 🎼🥁🎺🎻🪊

Our wonderful 5th graders at Silver Oak Elementary experienced Colonial times and learned how Americans lived in the 16th Century. They made Bonnet hats, learned how to write using a Quill and made dolls to be used in a Skit. Thank you to our amazing 5th grade teachers and parent volunteers for organizing this educational day for our 5th graders.

Come one, Come all! Please visit Silver oak Elementary’s open house from 5:30 pm - 7 pm and enjoy all the artwork our amazing students have worked on. This also gives everyone an opportunity to see pledge dollars at work. Thank to our lovely volunteers and PTO who put their heart and soul in the school. A huge Thank you to our wonderful PTO for hosting and to Navjot Sandhu for coordinating such an amazing International night at a Silver Oak Elementary. All cultural tables were beautiful, showcasing vibrant cultures and delicious food from all around the world. We would like to extend our heartfelt Thank you to all the volunteers who brought this memorable event together!

Our awesome 5th graders from Silver Oak went to Walden West science camp 🏕️ in April 2026 where they spent quality time exploring natural environments, studying new creatures, making lifelong friendships and memories. An experience of a lifetime was completed with joyful smiles and newly found wisdom.

Some of our Silver Oak Elementary school’s 2nd - 6th graders performed at the our very 1st Get Up and Dance performance on 4/23/2026. It was energetic, beautiful and simply magical - the kids did a great job and the ambiance was so happy and cheerful. The audience enjoyed an evening of great moves and made memories with their elementary school children. 💃🏻🕺🪩

Thank you to the CLAP ARTS teachers, Ms. Emily and Ms. Katie, who had instructed this fun and joyful Fine Arts Enrichment program at our school. Special thanks to parent volunteers Susanne Sul for going above and beyond for the dance program.
