BEAT THE STREETS WRESTLING IS RETURNING TO OB WHALEY! 🤼‍♂️

Our 4th–6th grade students had an exciting opportunity to learn about our Beat the Streets Wrestling Program during a special assembly! We were incredibly lucky to have Jaden Abas, former All-American wrestler from Stanford University, visit OB Whaley and teach our students some wrestling techniques. What an amazing experience! 👏

What a wonderful first week back at OB Whaley Visual and Performing Arts Academy! 💙🎨🎶

It was so great to see all of our excited students back on campus and ready to learn, grow, create, and make new memories! We’re thrilled to have our Whaley Family back together again and ready to make this a fantastic school year!

Today we celebrated a major milestone as our 6th grade students were promoted and prepared to take the next step in their educational journey!

We are so proud of all they have accomplished during their time at OB Whaley. They have grown academically, developed as leaders, built lasting friendships, and created memories that will stay with them for years to come.

A heartfelt thank you to our teachers, staff, and families for their unwavering support and dedication to our students’ success. Your encouragement has helped shape these amazing young people into confident, capable learners ready for middle school. Thank you to Board of Trustees, Patti Andrade and Jeremy Barousse, and Director of Educational Services, Kim Kiandehkian, for attending our promotion and supporting our students’ achievements!

Today, we proudly celebrated our OB Whaley Honor Roll students at a special event sponsored by our amazing PTA! It was a full house, with families and loved ones joining us to recognize the hard work, dedication, and academic achievement of students who earned Honor Roll all year long.

We are incredibly proud of our students for their commitment to excellence and perseverance throughout the school year. Thank you to our parents for your continued support and partnership, and a special thank you to our PTA for helping make this celebration so memorable.

What a wonderful day at OB Whaley Visual and Performing Arts Academy’s Dance Showcase!

Our students were thrilled to take the stage and share their talents with family and friends. Their excitement, confidence, and joy shined through every performance, making it a truly memorable event.

A special thank you to Evergreen District’s Director of Educational Services, Kim Kianidehkian, for taking the time to attend and support our talented performers. Your presence meant so much to our students and school community.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our incredible Artistic Director and Dance Teacher, Mrs. Lesley Ruzon, for her dedication, passion, and hard work. Through her guidance, our students had the opportunity to learn and perform a variety of dance genres from around the world, celebrating creativity, culture, and the performing arts.

What an incredible evening at O.B. Whaley Elementary School’s Multicultural Fashion Show & Dance Showcase! 🌎✨

With 60 participants representing regions from all over the world, our students proudly shared their cultures through beautiful traditional outfits, music, and dances unique to their heritage. It was a wonderful celebration of diversity, learning, and community, reminding us how much we can learn from one another when we come together with pride and respect for our different backgrounds.

A special thank you to Evergreen School District’s Board of Trustee, Patti Andrade, and Director of Ed Services, Ashley Morefield, for attending and supporting this meaningful event.

And a huge thank you to Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Gathoo for coordinating such a memorable and successful showcase for our school community! ❤️👏
