Brotherhood: Big/Little Edition👥

Brotherhood is one of the three main pillars in Delta Sigma Pi. Big and Little pairings provide support academically, socially, and career-wise.

As Brother Ace Lavaro’s little, Brother Ethan Kim is grateful for the role Ace has helped him in and more to come!

LinkedIn Workshop Recap 💻

Last week, we had a LinkedIn Workshop to help students polish their LinkedIn profile, a step towards their careers. This workshop was organized by Vice President of Professional Development, Brother Yasmine Villa, who provided thorough resources and feedback on what makes profiles stand out for recruiters. And it was hosted by Vice President of Professional Activities, Caesar Zhu.

In addition, shoutout to our Webmaster, Brother Sean Budiman, who took professional headshots for the attendees.

We hope that everyone was able to update their LinkedIn profiles!

Resume Workshop Recap 📄

Last week, we had our Resume Workshop to revise and and improve resume drafts and exemplify professionalism within our chapter.

Special thanks to our Vice President of Professional Activities, Brother Caesar Zhu, for organizing the workshop and providing a space for reviewing resumes.

Brother of the month: Brother Yasmine Villa who currently serves as the Vice President of Professional Development.

Brother Yasmine was nominated for going above & beyond for the benefit of our brothers. Yasmine has hosted a series of events aimed at strengthening professionalism within our chapter, as well as providing necessary tools for the advancement of brothers’ professional careers.

Beach Social Recap🏖

Last weekend, we had our Beach Social Event☀️. Shoutout to our VP of Social Development, Brother Jonathan Nguyen, for coordinating the event and activities.

And thank you for everyone who attended, we hope you all had a fun time!☺️

Our “Shark Tank” event is TODAY, August 30th. The times are changed to 6:30 to 7:45 PM in SU room 3A. And attire is professional.

The event will help you practice your soft skills through collaboration, innovation, and presentation. Our alumni brothers will determine how effective your ideas will be!

Happy Monday! Our “Community Service” event is TODAY, August 29. It is from 6 to 7 PM IN SU room 3A. And the attire is casual.

The event will provide a chance to practice one of our three pillars, community service. We will be assembling medical kits to help out NCAPDA.

Our “Alumni Panel” event will be happening TOMORROW on Friday, August 26th! It will be from 6-7 PM in SU Room 3A. And the attire is professional.

The event will have alumni brothers working at Deloitte, Google, Stanford University, Hasso Plattner Institute of Design, and VMware. This is a great opportunity to understand how Delta Sigma Pi has helped them get to where they are and to develop professionally.
