I am forwarding a message from City Year Silicon Valley. They are recruiting for corps members for next year. See the information below!

"City Year San José/Silicon Valley is seeking 17-25 year olds who are interested in serving as full time tutors and mentors for 10 months to help students in East Side San Jose or East Palo Alto academically and socio-emotionally. It is a great next step for a wide array of students, including those who demonstrate leadership qualities, an interest in community service or working with students, and those who need a pathway to fund their higher education endeavors. If you are interested, please fill out this CYSJSV Interest Form (https://pages.cityyear.org/San-Jose.html) with the requested information."

I want to thank everyone who joined us for Overfelt's Making Spirits Bright Drive-through last weekend. It was great to see so many students, alumni, staff, and families from our community celebrating the holidays with us. I want to send a special thank you to the staff, students, and parents whose hard work made the event a success!

The event may be over, but you can still make a donation to the WCO Scholarship for the Class of 2024. Every dollar helps our seniors make their college dreams come true!

We are one week away from the Making Spirits Bright Drive-through and Walk-through at Overfelt. Students are decorating the trees in anticipation. After the event, each tree will be given to an Overfelt family. All funds raised at the event support scholarships for the Overfelt Class of 2024!

Please make a donation to the WCO Scholarship fund on our PayPal Giving Fund Page. https://www.paypal.com/donate?campaign_id=WLUGF7HM9FVQW

We still have a few trees that need sponsors! https://www.paypal.com/donate?campaign_id=SQJBJBQL87GDE

However you participate, know that all of us here at Overfelt, and especially the graduating seniors of the Class of 2024, appreciate your support!
