Meet Natalie, Kevin, and Anthony, the James Lick High School seniors who just took first place AND a $9,000 scholarship prize at the TrExcel Competition, a first-of-its-kind interdisciplinary challenge rooted in sustainability, innovation, and holistic youth development. π
These young leaders are participants in our ASSETs (After School Safety and Enrichment for Teens) program, bringing enrichment opportunities directly to students across East Side Union High School District.
Congratulations to our ASSETs scholars. We can't wait to see where you go next! π

Every number has a name behind it. π
In 2025, SV[e]F reached 6,400 students and 450 educators, growing our 27-year cumulative reach to 79,175 students and 4,910 teachers across 116 school districts.
This work is bigger than benchmarks. It is about what becomes possible when a student walks into a classroom with a teacher who is ready, a curriculum that challenges, and a future that feels within reach. π€π½

The most effective investment in students starts with the educators who serve them.
This Teacher Appreciation Week, SV[e]F celebrates the teachers we have the privilege of partnering with each year. Their commitment ripples outward, reaching thousands of students who are building the foundational skills to thrive in tomorrow's workforce. π
As our summer Elevate[Math] and [Computer Science] Innovate programs approach, we're inspired by the educators who pour into their craft not because it's required, but because they know their students are worth it.
To every teacher in our community: thank you. π

β¨ Elevating student voice is how we shape what comes next β¨
At Women in STEM Leadership 2026, we are proud to welcome Meilani, a 12th grade student from SV[e]Fβs Cybersecurity Certification Program with Metropolitan Education District, as our 2026 Student Speaker. ππ½
Creating space for students to share their stories matters. When we invite young women into rooms where decisions are made, where leaders gather, and where opportunity lives, we are expanding what they see as possible for themselves.
For many students, especially girls, these moments are more than just a speaking opportunity. They are a gateway to connection, confidence, and visibility in spaces they have not always been invited into. π
Join us in celebrating Meilani and the next generation of leaders taking their place in STEM! π Purchase your tickets today: bit.ly/WIS2026
