At J&R Learning Center we have begun our English/Phonics classes! We use manipulatives such as puzzles, magnets, and more to help guide the students through their letters, sounds, and reading.

This Thanksgiving the students in our after-school program worked on a couple different projects including turkeys and trees! They worked super hard on tracing their hands, cutting, gluing, and reflecting on things in their life that they're thankful for. Students in our after-school care have the freedom and ability to get creative through arts and crafts! This lesson was all about cutting and gluing shapes together to form a whole picture. So much fun!
