Low-carbon” should not mean keeping fossil fuels alive.

A new review of 48 projects found that many fossil fuel-backed renewable, carbon capture, hydrogen and offset projects are not replacing oil and gas. Instead, they often help protect the industry’s image while delaying real climate action.

Real climate solutions must move us away from fossil fuels, not make them easier to continue.

Climate change is not a future warning anymore, it is today’s reality. The World Meteorological Organization confirms that 2015 to 2025 were the hottest 11 years on record, with 2025 ranking as the second or third hottest year ever recorded.

But facts are not here to scare us, they are here to move us. Youth voices, local action, and climate leadership matter now more than ever. Learn. Speak up. Act for the planet.

This Is What Climate Change Looks Like From the Ground

On March 9, 2026, GYLC Founder Ejaj Ahmad and Asif Zahir, Deputy Managing Director of Ananta Group, completed the Antarctica Marathon on King George Island, running 42.2 kilometers across volcanic rock, mud, and gravel at the bottom of the Earth. After sailing two days across the Drake Passage, they finished the race side by side, carrying a message about the urgency of climate action.

But Antarctica was not the white continent most people imagine. They ran across mud, bare rock, and exposed ground where glaciers once stood, a powerful sign of how quickly the region is changing. The run was dedicated to their late fathers and to the next generation who will inherit this crisis and must lead the response. The expedition was partially sponsored by Paragon Group and Ananta Group.
