Limelight Performing Arts

Glad I was able to catch so many of my high school students perform in their school productions of Les Mis, Spelling Bee and Little Shop in the past month. Wonderful production and I’m so proud of their continued hard work and passion on stage.

Late post but I wanted to take a second to congratulate all of my students on their performances over the past couple of months.
I wish I was able to see every show and cast, but when I do get the time to see a student’s show, I feel so proud to see their hard work and continued growth as they shine onstage in each performance. It makes me feel blessed to be a part of the Bay Area theater community helping to keep arts alive and cultivate the next generation of artists.

This award is given to a Rising Stars performer who inspires those around them through their dedication, creativity, leadership, talents, and positive attitudes. I’ve had the privilege of vocal directing shows with each this year’s nominees and all of them are so deserving of this recognition and are wonderful people and performers on and off stage.

Can’t believe it’s already been a week since Fiddler closed! This was such a special show for me to revisit after 20 years. I’m so proud of the hardworking artistic team, designers, and each and every cast member to make our story of Fiddler on the Roof so amazing and beautiful. I will miss this one!

Fiddler opens tonight!!! You have two weekends to support these kids who’ve worked so hard to put on a beautiful show!!

Can’t wait to revisit this beautiful show, my dad’s favorite, on the same stage I performed it on all those years ago. And super super excited to work with this team!!!
