Addie just earned her FFA American Degree! 🐰🐴🌱💚

As an active member of Davis FFA, Addie served as Chapter Secretary and participated in Light Horse Judging. Her primary SAE projects included working on a ranch caring for horses and raising and showing rabbits, including her rabbit, Bean Dip! She also grew a vegetable garden at home, participated in Davis Floral Club, where she created monthly flower arrangements, and was involved in CTESA, helping educate other students about FFA and farm-to-table baking.

Earning her American Degree is an incredible accomplishment, especially because it’s something she never thought she would achieve when she first started FFA. While keeping up with the documentation and requirements was challenging, the experience was well worth it. Through FFA, Addie has gained valuable knowledge and skills in agriculture, leadership, responsibility, and dedication.

Now attending Florida International University, Addie is studying Pre-Nursing and Psychology with plans to become a nurse. She is grateful for everything FFA has taught her and for the experiences, friendships, and memories she will carry with her into her next chapter! ✨

🏆🐑 THREE YEARS IN A ROW! 🐑🏆

Congratulations to Bella Herrera for winning Supreme Champion Market Lamb at the Yolo County Fair for the third year in a row! 💙💛

Bella was already an accomplished pig showman through 4-H before she began showing lambs with Davis FFA, and she continued successfully showing both species throughout high school.

Raising a champion animal takes an incredible amount of time and work. From feeding and exercise to fitting and showmanship, Bella puts in the hours to get every detail right, and three consecutive championships speak for themselves!

This was Bella’s final year showing with Davis FFA as she heads back to South Plains College in Levelland, Texas. We’re so proud of you, Bella! We can’t wait to see what you accomplish next! 🐑🐷💙💛
