High school students from across Santa Clara County came together for a day of learning, reflection, and action, in honor of the life and legacy of Fred Korematsu.💡Through interactive stations and student voices, they explored fairness, belonging, and justice in America. ⚖️
Students learned how Korematsu stood up against injustice and defended civil rights, showing what courage looks like. The experience helped them connect history to their own lives and feel empowered to speak up. ⭐
This program shows how schools can make civic learning more inclusive and engaging. Using Fred Korematsu’s story, it helps students connect history, rights, and their own voices, while inspiring schools to support all communities.
