Seeking Bewilderment is a nature-based, Reggio Emilia–inspired family daycare and preschool in San Jose, CA, run by a husband-and-wife team raising three young children of their own. As parents, we know what it’s like to want more for our kids than screens, worksheets, and overcrowded classrooms. That’s why we created Seeking Bewilderment — a nurturing, home-based environment where children learn through play, nature, and curiosity. Our co-founder and lead teacher, Noora, brings over a decade of experience in early childhood education. She’s worked with some of the most inspiring educators in the Bay Area, including programs at Educare, CCLC, and the Google Children’s Center. Her teaching approach blends Reggio Emilia and Montessori philosophies, guided by the belief that every child has a story to tell — and we’re here to help them write it. Noora holds a Site Supervisor Permit, a Bachelor’s in English with a minor in Early Childhood Education, and is CPR trained and certified.
